Core i7 is Intel’s latest and most advanced processor series in the market… Core i7 was released just 2 years after core 2 duo, which didn’t give the product much time to bask in its glory. Core i7 has been built using 45nm processor technology and it offers multi core processing and also an integrated memory controller which according to most computer wizards was long overdue. The core i7 920 costs just above $280, which in my opinion is worth it because of the features this particular model is offering.
This processor series is already a huge hit with most gamers as it supports both ATI’s crossfire and NVIDIA’s SLI; yes it can handle dual GPU setup, which is unique to this processor series. This means humans can enter a whole new level of gaming using this product.
